Sales Leadership Opportunity ? The Role of a Hunter
Employ superior sales experience and proven leadership skills (including hiring, training, coaching and performance management skills) to lead a Commercial Card sales team in exceeding challenging commercial card revenue goals.
Responsible for developing a high-performance sales team that meets and exceeds challenging revenue targets and other sales-related goals. Partner with seven (7) sales team-members (Managers, Business Development) and take joint ownership for strategic account sales. Organize, develop and deliver on a pipeline of opportunities. Develop and execute strategies at an individual account level as required to win in the marketplace. Develop internal and external partnerships to maximize leads and capitalize on growth opportunities. Lead change initiatives required to maximize results within an aggressive timeframe. Territory covers New Jersey.
- Successful direct sales experience, meeting and exceeding targets in direct sales role is required
- Minimum 5+ years prior exceptional performance in a sales leadership role driving superior team results vs. all goals
- Demonstrated knowledge of Middle Market prospect needs and how the Corporate Services product set aligns to meet those needs
- Thorough understanding of Middle Market sales and setup processes as well as Corporate Card, CPC functionality, pricing and toolsets
- Proven experience in negotiating pricing and contracts
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills
- Proven application of strategic thinking, project management and change management skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
- This position will be located in the New Jersey area
- Candidate MUST reside in their sales territory, and will operate from a virtual office
- Experience working in a virtual office is a plus!
